He earned several degrees from Seoul National University, one of South Korea’s most prestigious institutions, including a B.A. in Education, a B.S. in Chemistry Education, and an M.A. in Life-long Education. His pursuit of academic excellence led him to the United States, where he continued to expand his expertise in human resource development and organizational learning.
In 2020, Dr. Yoo earned his Ph.D. in Human Resource Development (HRD) from the University of Minnesota, where he also completed two minors in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship and Quantitative Methods in Education. His dissertation, titled “The Effects of Expertise Diversity and Task Interdependence on Project Team Effectiveness,” garnered national recognition, earning him the 2021 ATD Dissertation Award, one of the most distinguished honors in the field of human resource development.
